JtoJ would like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday to support our mission and to play Jungle Trivia! It was hilarious. And if there’s two things we love it’s “jungles” and “hilarious”.
Secondly! We want to tell you about some incredible news: Jungle to Jungle gets to team up with Borneo Child Aid Society this year.
This organization is absolutely inspiring: They build schools for the kids of oil palm plantation workers to attend. Without them, 9,000 kids in this region would be following their parents to work everyday instead of getting an education.
Whoa. That is some serious stuff, but true. Here’s their little faces.
These are the kids that are going to be introduced to Kihei Charter’s middle school students! These two groups of young people are going to get the chance to communicate with one another: asking questions, exchanging dances, words, perhaps musical tastes.. whatever they choose. So exciting!
